Hello!

My name is Jacob and welcome to TheSportCycle! I’ve been a huge sports fan my whole life and I’m always known as the “sports guy” amongst my friends and family.

It all started when I fell in love with my local team, the Vancouver Canucks. Growing up in Canada, you’re exposed to hockey at a young age and I was instantly hooked after watching my first game. This interest also expanded into other sports shortly after.

I’ve woken up at 4AM to watch my favorite club soccer team Arsenal play against one of the worst teams in the league. I waited in line outside in the rain for 3 hours just to buy some Team Canada gear during the 2010 Winter Olympics. I once paid 5 times face value for NBA tickets because I desperately wanted to watch LeBron James play.

That’s how much I love sports and my passion has led me here because I can’t keep my thoughts and opinions to myself anymore.

Instead, I want to share them with you wonderful fellow sports fans because to us, it’s more than just a game!

My favorite sports teams include the Vancouver Canucks, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Detroit Pistons, the New England Patriots and Arsenal FC.
